According to an article today at Haaretz.com, a record residential real estate deal has recently taken place in Herzliya Pituach.  The home sold for NIS 59 million – about $14 million. 

The deal was entirely between foreign residents: The seller, a French Jew, had been trying to sell the house on Haeshel Street for about a year. The buyer is foreign as well.  The house was built four years ago on a 2-dunam (half-acre) plot, based on a plan by architect Yaron Landau, for a family that razed the building previously on the site. The area of the 12-room house itself, a duplex with a basement, is about 1,000 square meters.
